The mission of Camp Enterprise is to expose high school students who have finished their junior year of school to the tenets of the Free Enterprise Economic system.

Rotary has always supported the Free Enterprise system and worked to have it better understood by the public.  Future employees of our club members' organizations who have a better understanding of the system should be better employees with good comprehension of their business objectives.

Students entering their senior year of high school will have a much better appreciation for the benefits of of the Free Enterprise system, as well as the pitfalls that can overcome an organization.

With strong support from guidance counselors, students from all of the Licking County high schools are recruited.  Approximately fifty students attend each year.  An intense three-day seminar is conducted with a great deal of interaction among successful business, education, and government officials and the students in "real-life" business situations.  Experience is built around a business simulation project

During one of the days of camp a regular Rotary meeting is conducted at the site.

Camp Enterprise has been an ongoing project of the Newark Rotary Club for the past twenty-five years.
